Chris Lonergan Town Planner and Tai Lonergan / Design Evolutions formerly worked as a unit under the 'umbrella' of East Coast Planning Consultants.

The rapid pace of progress in the Byron Shire has fueled an expansion of our two main services, to the point at which it was deemed more practical to separate the two arms of our activities into two separate businesses with their own support staff. So we are phasing out the nominal umbrella title of the amalgamated business. But we are keeping a single web-site as a natural contact point for both services.

Of course the two departments still work closely together as a tight-knit team on joint planning/design projects, and offer a professional, proactive town planning and project design service, based for over 20 years now at the famous Australian surfing beach town of Byron Bay, Australia.

Chris Lonergan will continue to specialise in comprehensive planning reports and environmental impact assessment.

Tai Lonergan / Design Evolutions handles the sustainable design, and architectural drafting.

Together the two new businesses can offer an integrated range of professional services to assist in the design of projects, their environmental and statutory assessment, and their final submission to Local or State Government agencies for approval.

We have successfully worked on Tourist Accommodation developments from Cairns to Tasmania, Byron Bay to Perth, Spain to Madagascar.
